Unpack and process the flowers immediately. Remove foliage below water level to prevent rotting. Start with the problem flowers first.
2. Nip It In The Bud
Ethylene kills. Flowers exposed to ethylene fail to open have a wilted appearance. Blocking ethylene should be done as a pretreatment at all levels of the floral industry. [...]
